You must use any standard colour of plasti dip for a base coat before using a metalizer or glossifier. all standard colours of plasti dip have a matte finish which look well on their own and if you want want to change the look of that finish you can add a metalizer. In this video we use plasti dip matte black as base coat and then add plasti dip copper metalizer.I have found copper metalizer looks best over matte black plasti dip and in the video you get to see the metalizer and how it looks first with just two coats over the black and the how it looks with more.
